Inflatables

TEXTILE ARCHITECTURE

In the world of inflatables, technical performance is not optional, it is essential. From promotional and recreational structures to industrial or sports applications, the materials used must withstand extreme conditions without compromising safety, durability or aesthetics.
At Expafol, we design and manufacture technical fabrics for inflatables with advanced formulations in TPU, PVC and other high-tech polymers that adapt to each environment, workload and climatic demand.

Get to know our range of Products:

LONAFOL® 650 L2

It is probably the most widely used technical fabric in the textile architecture industry.

LONAFOL® 580 L1

Lonafol® 580 is a technical fabric with a double coating that gives it great resistance and waterproofing.

TPU 180

TPU 180 is a unique thermoplastic polyurethane, flexible, elastic and with great resistance to abrasion and salt water.

TPU 100

Our TPU 100 polyester foil is perfect for the most demanding industries thanks to its great elasticity and lightness.

TPU 300

High-performance polyurethane TPU is an excellent material that offers durability and wear resistance.

Advantages of ourTechnical fabrics for inflatables

Industrial Process Compatibility

Expafol’s technical fabrics for inflatables are compatible with heat sealing, HF welding, digital printing and other common techniques in the manufacture of complex inflatable products.

Dimensional stability and controlled shrinkage

Formulated with technical polymers such as TPU or advanced PVC, our products minimize thermal shrinkage and prevent wrinkles or deformations due to environmental stress.

Protection against extreme environments

UV, humidity, salinity or high temperatures are not a problem. These fabrics have been developed to withstand harsh environments without losing physical or aesthetic properties.

Flexibility and lightness

The lightness of our materials does not compromise resistance. This makes it easier to transport, assemble and handle large inflatable structures without losing load capacity or elasticity.

Structural strength without deformation

Our fabrics maintain the shape and volume of the inflatable even under prolonged pressure. Thanks to their technical formulations and weldability, they guarantee hermetic sealing and reliable mechanical performance.

Common uses of fabrics for inflatables

Expafol’s technical fabrics for inflatables are used in a wide variety of inflatable structures for both temporary and permanent use, such as:
Promotional and branding elements
Arches, balloons, totems and inflatable tents for fairs, events or advertising activations.
Bouncy castles, water slides, portable playgrounds or adventure games.
Inflatable mats, training barriers, jumping tracks and other portable accessories.
Temporary inflatable enclosures, sealing gaskets, pneumatic protection systems or auxiliary structures for loading.

Frequently Asked Questions About fabrics for inflatables

What is the difference between TPU and PVC in inflatables?
TPU offers greater flexibility, chemical resistance and durability. PVC is more economical and works very well for less demanding promotional or recreational applications.
Yes. Some of our products are compatible with digital printing or screen printing, ideal for branding or custom signage.
Absolutely. Many of our fabrics withstand extreme temperatures without tearing or losing seal.
Our fabrics can be welded with high frequency (HF), heat sealing or technical adhesives depending on the product and application.
